Elm Tree Farm, Darlington

Bellway Homes Limited (Bellway) are proposing to submit a full planning application to Darlington Borough Council for residential development on Land off Sparrow Hall Drive, Darlington. Proposals include the demolition of existing farm buildings and the erection of approximately 142 dwellings comprising detached, semi-detached and terraced homes. 


Other key considerations include:


- Provision of affordable homes (approximately 20% of total units proposed)

- Significant contribution towards the Council’s 5 year housing land supply

- Provision of open space

- Vehicular access from Sparrow Hall Drive

- Pedestrian access

- New upgraded access to the Golf Club

- Ecological and environmental mitigation and enhancements
